Prayer Requests –
Please pray for:
Samuel Beukelman: Please pray for seven year old Sam (Samuel) Beukelman who has been diagnosed with a tumor on his T6 vertebrae in the shoulder blade area after experiencing severe pain and undergoing several tests, doctors visits, and trips to the emergency room. He has been admitted to University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA, USA. Please pray that God will ease Sam’s pain and bring healing to his body. Pray also for the doctors to find a treatment to address his medical condition. Please also pray for Sam’s parents Teri and David and for his brothers and sisters and other family members. Sam is the grandson of Anton and Carolyn Hol, former Mission Corps volunteers in Nazarene Compassionate Ministries for Africa Region.
The Church in Ethiopia continues to experience severe persecution. The Church still has a number of very serious legal challenges before them in the days and weeks ahead, and continued prayers are greatly coveted and appreciated.
JESUS Film Teams: Pray for the JESUS Film teams facing opposition. Pray that they will see God’s hand in their work for His Kingdom.
Pray for Relief from Disasters Around the Globe: Every day we hear of natural disasters and the result is lives disrupted or destroyed. Many people around the world continue to experience trauma. Pray for people who are affected by circumstances out of their control and that Christians will offer compassion and the hope of Christ to those who are hurting.
NMI Ministry: Please pray that every NMI ministry around the world will be led by the Holy Spirit to encourage local churches to have an active heart for mission - in their Jerusalem, their Judea, their Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Dr Filimao Chambo, as he leads the Africa Region, his wife Rev Samantha, and their children Tsakani and Emanuel. Pray that God will use him and Samantha in all areas of ministry.
Dr David Graves, General Superintendent in jurisdiction for Africa, and his wife Sharon.
Africa Region: Please pray for political stability in several African countries including Egypt, Libya and Cote d’Ivoire.
Workers for the Harvest: Luke 10:2 says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” There is a great need for people to hear and respond to God’s call to missions and ministry. Pray with NMI that the Lord will supply workers for the harvest.
