God’s Message Will Not Be Stopped
Rev John Yual, Sudan Mission Coordinator
A village in a remote area of Western Equatoria, Sudan, had never heard the story of Jesus. The practice of African Traditional and Islamic Religions are predominate in this area. When the Church of the Nazarene leaders found the village and shared the gospel message, some accepted Christ.

The first formal training and discipleship for the new believers was to take place on 25 July 2009. On their way the bus the church leaders were travelling in slipped off the hard road and into mud. They tried without success to get the bus out, but it was not going to budge. Instead of feeling defeated, they spent the night in the bush and in the morning started a long 5-hour walk in heat and dust, arriving safely at their destination.

The three-day training took place as planned with 47 in attendance; 10 pastors and 37 new believers!
We praise the Lord for this opportunity to see new people come to Christ and be discipled in their new faith.
