“James was captured by the Holy Spirit,” said the team member in Liberia. “James did not know where the people were going but he followed them to the JESUS Film showing. He did not return home the same man. James is a new man in Christ. He is leading many others to meet the Lord."
Prayer Requests - Please pray for:
Ruthie Zimmerman who learned last week that a mass on her bladder is malignant. Ruthie was also diagnosed recently with a brain tumour. Please pray for Ruthie and her family during these difficult days, that the Lord will sustain them and bring healing to Ruthie’s body. She is the mother of Denise Anderson, missionary serving in South Africa. Pray for Denise and Phil as they prepare for home assignment, and for Denise and their two daughters, Makenzie and Morgyn, as they leave South Africa on Thursday to fly to Pennsylvania to be with Ruthie. Thank you for your prayers.
Rev Chalema: Rev Chalema, Malawi Central District Superintendent, suffered a stroke on 25 December 2009. He is showing signs of improvement, but remains paralyzed on his left side. Rev Chalema goes for physical therapy three times each week at a government hospital in Lilongwe. The District would like to send him to a hospital in Blantyre. Please pray for God to touch Rev Chalema and restore health to his entire body. Pray for his family and the district at this time.
JESUS Film Equipment is needed by Africa JESUS Film teams. Please pray for groups to deliver equipment to these priority locations.
