Congo’s Brazzaville District Installs Workers in Special Ceremony
Rev Antoine On’okoko, District Superintendent

I would like to share with the Nazarene family about the transforming power of our holy God. We thank God for trusting the Nazarenes with the message of entire sanctification.

Here in Brazzaville the work is moving well; the message of holiness is preached, people are getting saved, and many lives are transformed. For example, Brother Riffel Korilla who was a well known drunkard with his life tied up in well known bars met the Lord last year trough Church of the Nazarene evangelism. He has experienced the life of entire sanctification. His wife and his mother do thank God for giving them a new person, a new husband, a new father, a new son. Riffel has now committed his life to serve God and preach the message of HOLINESS. He is currently a student in Nazarene Theological Institute and also serving God as the district NMI president. He said that after wasting 40 years of his life he now wants to live for the living God. He is committed to serve God to his full time capacity. His life testimony is very amazing and also drawing others to come to Jesus Christ the King of Kings. Here in Brazzaville the message of holiness is powerfully working and we thank God for it.

On Sunday, 7 February 2010, we had a very interesting service with the installation of workers to serve God for this new year. This is the first time for the Church of the Nazarene to have a district committee duly formed and duly taking their assignment in a very official service. Rev Antoine On'okoko preached from 2 Chronicles 15:1-19 with the THEME: BEING MOVED BY GOD. On’okoko urged workers to listen in order to hear from God and to act in obedience to the living God.

The ceremony was a great event in the history of the Church of the Nazarene in Brazzaville, Congo. Immediately after the ceremony, Mrs On'okoko asked officers about their feelings and their respective vision for the new year 2010. There were many testimonies to the powerful work of God in lives across the district.
