JESUS Is Light and Reveals Truth
--JFHP Prayers & Praise, 23 June 2010
“I met the light and saw the truth," said Niga in Benin/Togo. "Since birth, I was taught to worship fetishes and many gods. I am a housewife and mother of three children. When I saw the JESUS Film, I understood Jesus is the true God. I asked God to forgive my sins and became a believer in Christ. I know Him and accept Him as my personal Saviour."
Prayer Requests

Rev Errol Davids who was diagnosed with a stage 3 malignant brain tumour has developed pneumonia and has been hospitalized. He is also experiencing paralysis on his left side which is believed to be a result of the brain tumour. Errol is hospitalized in Durban, South Africa, and desperately needs the prayers of God’s people on his behalf. Please pray urgently for God to touch and heal Errol. Pray also for Errol’s wife Cynthia as they deal with this critical situation. Errol is the pastor of the Living Waters Church of the Nazarene in Manzini, Swaziland.
Connie Mackenzie, former missionary to South Africa and current Africa South Field Treasurer. Connie has developed cellulitis in her leg, the same leg that has an ulcer. She is on a course of strong antibiotics administered intravenously. Please pray for Connie’s complete healing. She has struggled with infections for over a year. Thank you for your prayers.

Their South Africa visas have not yet been extended and they continue to wait for word on their work permits for Angola. Please pray that God will intervene in their situation. The Carvalho’s are intern missionaries from Cape Verde serving in the Lusophone Field country of Angola.

From the Word
“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring’” (Acts 17: 24-28).
