Bible Quizzing Minimize

The Nazarene Children’s quizzing programme is a concentrated verse-by-verse study of selected sections of the Bible. The three goals are to help the child:

  • Increase their Bible knowledge
  • Create the eagerness to study the Bible
  • Learn how to study the Bible

Many children can be involved because our goal is to encourage them study the Bible. Children are given a portion of scripture at the beginning of each year. Children’s quizzing starts at a local church level and proceeds to the district level where children from different local churches compete together.

  •  Children’s quizzing is designed for children in grade one through six or seven.
  • Children in grade one and two take part in what is called the pre-quizzing programme. Pre-quizzing is designed in a way that children learn about the divisions of the Bible so that they can increase their knowledge about the Bible.
  • Boys and girls in grades three through seven participate in regular quizzing. The five books that are studied in a circle of five years are Genesis, Exodus, 1&2 Samuel, Matthew ,and Acts. The main aim is to help the child develop study habits.
  • Younger children do not participate in regular quizzing because their minds are still developing and they cannot memorise all Bible questions and answers.
