JESUS Film Ministry Trips Minimize

Why JESUS Film Ministry Trips?

1. JESUS Film teams need new equipment and other JESUS Film resources.
2. Nazarenes in other world areas are asking to go and "do" the JESUS Film ministry.
3. There is a need to secure additional sources of new equipment for JESUS Film teams.

4. There is a need to identify additional delivery options for equipment and resources to meet field needs.

JESUS Film Ministry Trips are one solution to help meet these needs.  The Africa Region is interested in JF Ministry teams to assist in this area.

Who Organizes the Trips?

If you are an African and would like to take part in a JESUS Film Ministry trip, the trip will be organized by the JESUS Film Minsisty office at Africa Region. The JFM office will work with JESUS Film Field leaders to set up Trip profiles based on who needs equipment and DVDs.

The field would need an on-field Trip host for each trip. These people could be the JESUS Film Region/Field/Country coordinators. Field leaders would select the on-field Trip hosts. The expenses for this host would be covered by the trip participants when they pay their on-field expenses to the host.

If you are from another world area, contact JESUS Film Harvest Partners at our international site http://www.jfhp.org/.

Who Can Participate in a Trip?

Trips will be organized for local churches or groups of people. Participants would need to raise equipment/DVD (project) money. Funds need to be sent to the JESUS Film Ministry office which will buy the equipment and other resources, and send them to the church.

The church would put together a group of 7-10 people who would deliver the equipment to the receiving JESUS Film team. These people would then have an on-field cultural orientation and assist the JESUS Film team for the next 7-10 days. This assistance may be to hand out invitations, help set up and tear down the equipment, pray during the showings, and witness God’s harvest.  It could also include anything else the field leaders need to have done.  These Trip participants would not be up front to use a microphone at a showing. They would simply work alongside the established JESUS Film team.

What Does it Cost?

The sponsoring church raises the money for the equipment/DVDs (project). The participants raise funds for their travel and on-field expenses. The field pays no expenses.

For participants from other world areas, Trips would be registered through the W&W office at International Headquarters and insured as such.

Communication:  When churches call the JESUS Film Ministry office, they are put in direct contact with whoever is designated as the field Trip host. This contact will be confirmed by an e-mail from the JFM office.

It is anticipated that through the involvement of more individuals and churches, more resources will be made available to meet the needs of JESUS Film team throughout the Africa Region.
