Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries International (SDMI):
· Mission: To carry out the Great Commission to children, youth, and adults by
empowering and equipping them for a lifetime of Christian holiness.
· Goal: (1) To have all the local churches on the Africa Region teach the Word of
God until pupils are sanctified wholly and maturing in Christian discipleship.
(2) To help Christians mature spiritually by involving them in soul-winning ministries,
reaching and teaching others to be disciples and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
(3) To make resources accessible to local churches to equip them with necessary
skills and tools to facilitate this ministry.
Nazarene Youth International (NYI):
· Mission: To call our generation to a dynamic life in Christ.
· Goal: (1) To have all local churches on Africa Region have effective NYI Ministry
which will attract, equip, and empower young people for life and service in
the Kingdom of God and to facilitate their integration into the Church of
the Nazarene.
(2) To lead young people into a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ and
to facilitate their growth as disciples for Christian service.
Nazarene Missions International (NMI):
· Mission: To mobilize the church in mission through prayer, education, giving,
and interactive experiences.
· Goal: To instil a vision for missions on the districts and local churches across the
region. To facilitate the work of the NMI district presidents and councils.
· Objectives: To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelism; to
inform people of the world’s needs and what the church is doing to meet
those needs; to challenge children and youth to learn about and
participate in the mission of the church; to raise funds for mission outreach.
Nazarene Education Systems (NES):
· Mission: To make quality Christian holiness education accessible to every church
leader in Africa with primary emphasis on theological training.
· Goals and Values Statements:
(1) To promote, encourage and establish educational systems that will
develop large numbers of qualified laity and clergy for ministry.
(2) To promote and maintain the highest academic quality of education
possible at all levels of education (CLT, certificate, diploma and degree).
(3) To Make Theological education accessible to all those called to ministry.
(4) To develop and promote evangelism and discipleship (children, youth
and adults) training through each educational provider in collaboration
with the local church, district, field and region.
(5) To establish a leadership development and empowerment training programme.
