The process:

1) Seek approval from your Field Strategy Coordinator.  Upon approval, your FSC will forward your request to the Regional Director for approval.

2) Have your visitor sign up for insurance through the World Mission Work & Witness website (www.workandwitness.org) under the “Resources” heading. The cost for insurance cover and repatriation is minimal.  In some cases, your family member may have sufficient insurance and will not need to take out the volunteer insurance.  They may contact Duane Baty (dbaty@nazarene.org) to check on their insurance needs.

Your visitor is not to interfere with your field responsibilities; it may be necessary for you to use vacation time.
