Radio ministries are one of the vital ways to spread the Good News to the many un-reached areas on the African continent. The Church of the Nazarene works in partnership with many other Christian organizations to bring the message of heart holiness to the lost in Africa.

Our radio work reaches 23 countries and the message of holiness is proclaimed in 13 languages. We have several production studios around Africa where radio presenter’s record and package the radio programs before saving them to CD/DVD for airing.

We have radio coordinators on each field that work with production teams to plan and produce the programs. Training of the presenters and technical producers is an ongoing exercise to maintain a high standard of expertise, ensuring our programs are of the best possible quality at all times.

World Mission Broadcast Africa is planning to partner with Shine FM of Olivet Nazarene University to have Media students come to Africa and do their Internship on the field. Plans for the first group of students to arrive in May 2010 are well underway. Click here for more details.

As Radio Broadcast grows across the continent of Africa we are finding new and innovative ways to reach all people groups, even those who live in extreme rural or dangerous conditions.  

Through "My Generation Studio Backpacks", our African Broadcast producers can produce professional quality programs in a car, or home or any other location.  Then they can pack it up and move if needed.  The "My Generation Studio Backpack" helps save the World Mission Africa money because our producers don't need to build or rent a studio or purchase stationary equipment that can be quite costly.
